We are proud to present a series of our own series of guides for Starcraft 2‘s competitive multiplayer mode. This post is here to serve as a sort of “plans for the future” type of article for different guides where we talk about strategies, micro and macro management, faction specific tactics, build orders, and more, for Starcraft 2.
A few words about us
All of us here at Galaxy Wars are avid fans of Starcraft franchise and RTS games in general. We have played everything from old school games like Age of Empires and Homeworld to some of the newer titles like Faster than Light and Rimworld. So, after many years of playing different strategy games and experiencing almost everything RTS genre has to offer, we have decided to give back to the community by writing guides for games we love.
Our Starcraft 2 Guides System
If you want to get better at Starcraft 2 and learn about the game at the same time, you’re at the right place. We have designed several guides that will cover everything from early game, build order, specific faction guides, over faction and build counter guides, to explaining how the game’s mechanics work.
The first thing we will talk about in our guides is the basic Starcraft 2 stuff like resource management, unit training, building structures and expanding your base. We want to make this series of guides in order from absolute beginner, to master. But as we move on from basics, you will, hopefully, get better at the game, and will want more in-depth explanations of the game’s mechanics and systems. For example, something a beginner can not learn but comes with experience is micro-managing your units on muscle memory alone. This means that you will need to adjust to your own keybinds and find what works best for you. In addition, we will also learn about which units counter which, and we’ll be able to combine this knowledge with micro-management and give you an idea of how combat works in Starcraft 2.
So stay tuned if you want to become the best you can be at one of the most popular RTS games of all time.
